The owner of West Coast Marine, Arend Brink started the business due to his passion for fishing and boating which started in  Oranjemund during 1978 where he built his first boat due to the unavailability of suitable quality boats in Namibia.

He then during his career, got involved in the maintenance of outboards after he was approached to take on the franchise for Mercury outboards in Namibia. He within a year qualified for the gold award in sales and from that day his boating business  took off. His legacy has been the training, commitment and service to the clients that have loyal supported the West Coast Marine family all these years.

The staff at West Coast Marine have a passion for what they do! They are dynamic and specialize in all facets of angling, boats,  outboards and marine requirements. They only stock quality tackle and equipment to ensure that your fishing and boating  experience is comfortable, a pleasure and exciting.

Being keen fisherman themselves, they understand the needs of their fellow anglers and have introduced a range of tackle and gear that will be affordable for all. Arend in fact has held the world championship title for deep sea angling during 1991 and as time allows is still very active in promoting the sport across Africa.
